We all have a past, we all have a family with a background. We love them to the deepest depths of our core, but sometimes it’s extremely hard to ignore those few and far between parasitic individuals that are a part of the bunch. You know, the ones that affect our being, our mental and physical health. It’s so hard because we want to love them the same!

This exact thing is something that I, myself have been struggling with lately. And I know that I am not alone!!

It is so incredibly tough to just sit back and ignore someone that fits the definition of a narcissist, who emits the energy that they do not want anything good for you, who is so miserable with himself/herself that they will go to ANY lengths to try to bring you to their level. Welllllll…….Β NOT ME!!

Life is entirely too short to allow a parasite to take over every aspect of your being!! πŸ˜ŠπŸ™ˆπŸ™‰πŸ™ŠπŸ‘ŒπŸ‘

Throughout the journey of this beautiful thing called life, I have realized that it is absolutely alright to walk away from those parasites! Sometimes we just have to, for our own sanity.

It doesn’t matter who this person is to you, and it definitely doesn’t mean that we have to put them on the blacklist and never speak to them again either……. It simply means that you do not have to be affected by their negative miserable soul.

SURE we want to help them, but I have realized that you honestly cannot help someone who doesn’t want to help themselves.

⛀Love them from afar!!⛀

The person that I have been referring to here is someone who is supposed to be extremely close to me. (We all have or know of a person like that as well.) But for my own growth and happiness, I HAVE TO step back and make sure that I love myself first and foremost. I will always be there for them, will always love them, but I refuse to argue with and be dragged down by a “debbie downer.”

Parasites will suck everything from you! And I mean EVERYTHING! I love myself WAY TOO MUCH though and I can only hope for the best…..

Β It’s so important for us to realize that last statement. Keep telling yourself that and you will be able to find it in you to protect yourself, however you find necessary.

Remember- – – Stay happy, healthy, and always keep smiling!! πŸ˜‹

  1. Honey, walk away from those parasites quick, fast, and in a hurry! Self preservation is a thing! I learned this lesson a few years ago. This is a great post!

  2. It’s funny how almost everyone can relate to it. There is always this one person that wants to take you down. Great reminder on how to treat it. Thanks
